Yes, the Wide Trim can be used along the bottom of the panel as well as along the sides. For a clean, professional look, we recommend securing the Wide Trim with glue. However, you can also use screws or brad nails by fastening through the panels if preferred.
That said, many of our installers prefer using the J Trim at the bottom because it hugs the bottom panel more tightly, creating a seamless transition. Just keep in mind that the J Trim has a thinner profile compared to the Wide Trim, so if you choose to mix trim types, be sure to use the same size trim on all sides to maintain a consistent, professional finish.
