Yes, InstallStrips can be installed on a stucco block wall, but there are a few important considerations to ensure a proper and long-lasting installation.
For best results, we recommend removing the stucco texture in the areas where the InstallStrips will be mounted. The uneven surface of stucco can cause the InstallStrips to warp or sit unevenly, which makes it difficult to keep everything level. If the strips aren’t perfectly flat and aligned, the wall panels may not fit or lock in properly.
Once the stucco is removed and you’re mounting directly to the block, you’ll want to use concrete screws, which we do offer. Take extra care to make sure all InstallStrips are level with one another—this is critical for achieving a clean, professional-looking wall and ensuring the panels hang correctly.
