Yes, screws are required when using InstallStrips.
We recommend using #6 flat-head screws of the appropriate length for your wall type. You can purchase these from your local hardware store or order screws directly from us.
Most importantly, the xxxx must have a flat head that sits flush with the surface of the InstallStrip. If the xxxx head protrudes above the strip, it will interfere with the slatwall panel and prevent it from sliding properly into place during installation.
Using the correct xxxx type will ensure a clean installation and allow the panels to fit securely on the InstallStrips.
