The number of screws needed for an 8' × 4' StoreWALL case depends on whether you are installing Standard Duty or Heavy Duty panels, as well as which installation method you choose.
Option 1 – InstallStrips (Recommended)
Each 8' × 4' case requires 8 InstallStrips.
For maximum strength, install a xxxx in every mounting hole:
Standard Duty Panels
- 12 xxxx holes per InstallStrip
- 8 InstallStrips per case
- 96 screws total
Heavy Duty Panels
- 15 xxxx holes per InstallStrip
- 8 InstallStrips per case
- 120 screws total
Use flat-head screws that are appropriate for your wall type. It is important that the xxxx heads sit completely flush with the InstallStrip so the panels can slide into place properly.

Option 2 – Direct xxxx Installation
An 8-foot panel typically crosses 6 wall studs.
Standard Duty Panels
- 4 mounting slots per panel
- 6 studs × 4 slots × 4 panels
- 96 screws total per case
Heavy Duty Panels
- 5 mounting slots per panel
- 6 studs × 5 slots × 4 panels
- 120 screws total per case
