Yes, absolutely! Our 4’ slatwall panels can easily be cut down to fit a 47” wide wall. In fact, our panels can be cut to virtually any size needed to accommodate your project.
StoreWALL panels are made from extruded PVC, which gives them their strength and durability while also making them easy to cut using many of the same tools you would use for wood.
For cutting your panel, we recommend:
•Circular saw – Best for getting a clean, straight cut when shortening the width of a panel.
•Jigsaw – Great for smaller or more detailed cuts.
•Oscillating multi-tool – Perfect for cutting around electrical outlets, corners, or other obstacles.
For the cleanest cut, we recommend using a fine-tooth blade designed for wood or plastic.
Once your panel is cut to 47”, you can also add our J-Trim to the exposed edge. The J-Trim covers the side of the panel and a small portion of the face, giving your installation a clean, professional finished look.
Just remember to plan your cuts and InstallStrip/stud locations before cutting so your finished panel remains properly supported. For maximum strength, we recommend an InstallStrip at each stud behind the slatwall panels.
